Comparing Copolymer Acetal and Dupont Delrin Homopolymer in Round rods or sheets and plate

Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a machine lathe. It’s pretty easy to turn, however it requires slower speeds. I use this stuff to make Scottish small pipes chanters. Between the Delrin and POM-C rods, both materials are exceptionally durable and easily machinable, as they have very comparable physical properties.
